OneDigital Client Executive Discusses the Benefits of Offering Paid Paternity Leave

October 31, 2019 OneDigital Newsroom

Although the U.S. remains the only country in the developed world that does not require paid leave for new moms, parental leave benefits are slowly gaining traction in forward-thinking organizations.

One new father has benefitted from his organization offering paid paternal leave and shares how this has made him even more loyal to the company for his 15-year term. OneDigital Philadelphia’s Senior Client Executive Scott Solomon explains how offering these benefits can enhance employer’s retention efforts greatly and go a long way to attract top talent, in the recent article, “Paid Family Leave Policies Take Hold in Lehigh Valley,” featured in Lehigh Valley Business.

It sends the message that the company is invested in the employee and family. That reinforces the idea that the company wants its workforce to succeed in all aspects of life, not just work. And when a company’s offerings are aligned with the needs of the employee, it increases engagement and loyalty.
