Today we are beginning a new year… an opportunity to see the world with a fresh perspectives. It’s also an opportunity to set our sights on new goals for the year ahead. While I have many personal and corporate goals on my mind, there is one fundamental objective that is consuming my thoughts – 2019 is the year that OneDigital must BE Obsessed with our customers!
2018 saw many milestones from our thriving organization. We sustained an incredible growth trajectory with many talented team members joining the organization as we continue to build upon our industry leading culture. There seems to be no limit to what we can accomplish when we work together. I have such a sense of pride in what we are building and I hope you do too!
A big part of our success, however, has been driven by our willingness to make adjustments and recognize opportunities for improvement. And today, as we enter 2019, I want to acknowledge an opportunity we have to make some adjustments that directly impact the core health of our organization. While we are coming off of a record year in sales and M&A, we also saw our client retention slip. It’s never comfortable to lose a customer and this past year was particularly uncomfortable for an organization with so much pride.
As our industry continues to undergo change and consolidation, our competition is growing stronger and our customers expect and deserve more from us. We’ve worked so hard together to embrace our core values. We are fresh thinking, personal, responsive, strategic, relentless, and we certainly have each other’s back. While I see these behaviors displayed throughout our organization, I believe we can work harder to hold each other accountable and to make sure these values not only show up internally, but are also felt by our customers with every interaction. In 2019 we need to take a step back and listen to our clients to better understand their evolving needs. We must become obsessed with our clients and deliver on our brand promise.
With that in mind, I come into the New Year optimistic and energized to tackle this opportunity together. As we always do, we will make adjustments, focus our efforts and look to passionately execute on our plans to embrace our current and prospective clients. I look forward to sharing much more about our 2019 plans and initiatives at our Town Hall later this month.
We have much to celebrate and so much to be proud of, but continuously embracing opportunities to develop and improve is what makes OneDigital so special. So, let’s BE OBSESSED together in 2019!
